Attempting Gardening Today
So yesterday my neighbour friend and I went to a nearby garden centre where they were having a perennial sale of 30% off. I couldn't pass it up so we went. She pushed the cart and put all my new little babies in the cart for me. I can't remember the name of everything I got but, I know I got a huge delphinium, some pretty little evening primrose, and cone flower (echineacea).
By the time we got home it was too late to start digging and putting stuff in the ground so we just hung out and chatted and our husbands did the same. Our kids just ran up and down the block playing together. It is so nice to have good neighbours that you can hang out with and also trust with your kids when in a pinch.
So I'm just having my coffee and then I'm going to go outside and get dirty. I should be okay. I'll go slow and enjoy the process!
